Last few samples....

Hi everyone, Here we go with some last samples for tomorrows Demo Day..

They've been made using the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch!!

I know, I've never seen an envelope that looks like this either..

Guess it shows just how diverse these boards can be!!

These make great little gift boxes for almost any occasion and only take a few minutes to make..

I think the Purple one has my Mum's name on it for Mother's Day!!

If you are popping along to the demo, don't forget a pen and paper as there will me a few measurements for some of the projects you may wish to jot down..

Hi everyone..

Just a few more samples for our Demonstration Day here at Pinnacles on Saturday..

These have been made using the WE R Memory Keepers Candy Board..

Wasn't sure it was my kind of board, seeing as though the Tonic Square Cracker Die was such a hit last year!! But if you don't have an A4 Die Cutting Machine then this handy dandy board is a great alternative...

I think I have found my new (for now) obsession!!!

So many different ways of using it and sizes too!!

Home Sweet Home....

Hi folks... Well, we've come to the end of this Month Creative Expressions Design Team Goodies..

Hopefully you'll think we are ending on a good project!!? Well I certainly hope so, as this is also my project which I've posted and will be sent out to all Creative Expressions UK Stockist as a workshop inspiration project (gulp!!)
It's a little bit different from anything I have attempted before in its style and also its size.. The card is quite a "whopper" but as I wanted to make maximum impact that was just the way it turned out!!

I've used several of the Spellbinder Painted Lady Die to create a street effect

stamping my image on some complimentary card stock

and then cutting it out leaving a slight border as the image was too intricate to actually go right up to the edges of the stamp...

To allay any issues of the edge being totally visible, as it would be put on a Blue background,

adding the image to the same colour card stock makes it practically disappear...

Giving a very good effect and saves all the bother of trying to cut the image out completely!!! Result!!

Overall, I'm pretty happy how this turned out.. Something pretty individual and unique for someone moving to a new job or home...

As is the norm, we've been churning out some samples to show these products off to their best advantage, but with sooo many combinations I'm not quite sure we'll be able to cover everything in the allotted time, but we'll do our best....

Hi folks.. Today's Creative Expressions Design Team Post is in stark contrast to last week’s project...

In fact, I had no idea of where I was actually going with it!! And although it's not my best work, and with a tighter deadline than usual, I'm afraid its ganna have to do...
That said, I guess the contrast from last week’s work shows the diversity of the goodies Creative Expressions have given us to play with this Month...
Back to normal for next week’s project though, I can promise it will be a doozie!! Well, I think so anyway..

A Little "Playtime"

Hi folks... Creative Expressions Design Team post time again!!
With lots of new releases by Creative Expressions by way of the new Sue Wilson Dies, I have been somewhat distracted "playing" to focus on any one thing!!

However, I have completed this week's sample incorporating February's Stamps "with" some of my playtime creations...
One of the things that has distracted me the most are the new Weaving Dies.. I saw a project on Sue's Blog, but wasn't sure how the effect was created, although I knew it was done with the Weaving Dies.. Perhaps I should have investigated further to see if there was a tutorial!!

Anyhoo, a little playtime has resulted in me finding "my" way of achieving the result!! Very effective me thinks...

A crafters Mantra...

Hi folks... Well, here we are in a new Month, and that must mean some new goodies to play with as part of the Creative Expressions Design Team...

When I first saw this sentiment it made me chuckle and immediately think of all of our customers and the way we can all loose a little self control when it comes to our crafting goodies, myself included..
Watching Big Brother the other night they read Rudyard Kipling's Poem "If". One of the lines is "If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster and treat those two imposters just the same". This quotation is inscribed above the player’s entrance to the Centre Court at Wimbledon.. I'm wondering if I should get this stamp sentiment inscribed over the door here at Pinnacles??!! We'll see...
