Finally.....

....after almost a Month.. I have finally found the time to blog..... Apologies, but with one thing and another Blog time has gotten away with me yet again! But hopefully, today's posting will make up for it!!?
Have you been watching C&C and seen all the new Spellbinders goodies?? I've got my eye on a few of them! But, in the meantime I will just have to settle down and play with the ones which have already arrived here at Pinnacles...

And play I have!! Just blooming love this 3D Wreath Embossing Folder... So much so, I have made the same project 6 times, but in different colour ways.. And what do you know, that's 6 Blog Post's worth. So that should see us well into the middle of next week!! So no excuses for not posting eh!??

Happy Anniversary #3

Hi folks.. Last Anniversary card for now!... Today is the 1st Wedding Anniversary of one of my besties...
You may recall last year that I was "one of" their Best Men at their wedding!! How the year has flown!! And today, they celebrate their first wedding Anniversary..

Traditionally, this is celebrated with Paper.. And in the modern fraternity it is celebrated with clocks... So, as I use paper pretty much every day of my life that was easy to incorporate into their Anniversary card.. Trying to keep up with modern tradition was the tricky part, but hopefully I have captured both traditions in this project!! However, I still may have to explain the thought behind the process though!! Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs C.. Hope you enjoy your day..

Happy Anniversary #2

Hi Folks.. Told you they come thick and fast!! Yesterday was Joanne & Paul's Anniversary.. And today is Mum & Dad's 44th Wedding Anniversary.. Now, apparently, the theme for a 44th Wedding Anniversary is... Gourmet or Groceries!! So that's a trip to Waitrose then!!
I was hoping yesterday that inspiration would hit me to get their card done, but I was distracted with my Melt Pot all day and got nothing done, apart from a bit of "play time".. Fortunately I was able to go to my stand by pile of cards,

and this is the one I have chosen for them! Not it's intended use, but I think it fits the bill!!!

Happy Anniversary.....

Hi Folks... It's Joanne and Paul's (Sister & B-I-L) Anniversary today... and they said it wouldn't last!!!

Here's the card I have made for them... I'm defo in a Cream and Black mode at the moment!! It's Ma & Pa's Anniversary Tomorrow, (god, it's like busses round here at the moment!! None for ages, and then they all come at once!!) So If I don't get any inspo today then I may have to do this one again but in the reverse colour way.. We'll see..

Making hay cards while the sun shines...

Hi Folks... Today is the Birthday of one of my bestie's.. She joins the majority of our friends in the 40's Club!! Told her it would come round quickly and bite her on the rump!!!

She's a bit of a purple freak, so this is the card I made for her... It's quite subtle it it's make up (not like the recipient at all!) but works for the occasion I hope... I made several samples before I got onto this one, but they kept on heading in a Wedding'ie, Anniversary direction, which isn't a problem as I have four Anniversary cards to make before the weekend! eekk..

But once I got this design down I found a couple of different colour ways to try it out on also..

Pretty happy with the results of them, on the pile (in the shop window) they go...

Shaving Foam Flower...

Hi Folks.. Well, here we are with yet another Bank Holiday.. I hope you are going to be able to make the most of the weather today, cos it's not going to last here in the SE!!
Work for me today!!, but I'll be making sure I get out and catch a few rays when I take Hollister for her walk's!! So, although I'll be stuck inside for most of the day, I might as well enjoy myself...

Today, I will mostly be playing with.... Shaving Foam me thinks!!
